Physical Therapy is a growing field of practice in Nepal. On your physical therapy internship in Kathmandu will treat patients who originate mainly from Kathmandu and its nearby villages, who will be a range of ages and present a variety of cases. As is the case at home, common ailments include back pains and shoulder pains. However, the Physiotherapy department also serves as a rehabilitation center for patients after accidents, falls, and spinal injuries.
